Natural Resource Accommodation Facilities

Element Design can provide master planning and landscape design documentation for small, medium and large scale workers camp accommodation associated with natural resource projects.

Emphasis is placed on facilities and open space areas for patrons in the live away from home accommodation. Emerald, Moranbah, Miles, Roma Chinchilla.

‘Monterey’, Moranbah, Queensland.

A central Sky walkway links each level, while letting in light and natural ventilation. Hardy shrubs and groundcovers soften the ground floor level, and large feature pots fixed to support beams above, soften the upper levels.

Alligator Creek, Queensland.

An existing caravan park is in the process of being converted into accommodation for natural resource workers. The site brief includes the retention of select existing trees, inclusion of BBQ areas and communal open spaces. The accommodation blocks are interconnected by a network of skillion roofs and landscaped walkways.

Yamala Village, Emerald, Queensland.

Element Design has worked on many projects associated with the resource industry. This includes developments in Yamala, Moranbah, Rockhampton and Alligator Creek. All have detailed and specific design requirements, to ensure short and long stay residents live in an aesthetically pleasing environment.
